Workouts by Diet Track LLC — Privacy Policy
Workouts is an iPhone app by Diet Track LLC for running and logging a strength and mobility program. This policy says what the app stores, where, and what you can do about it.
What the app stores
On your phone. Everything you do in the app is saved on the phone first: the workouts you schedule, the sets and times you log, the programs you build, your preferences (units, appearance, reminders), and a note of which session you closed on purpose.
On our servers, only if you sign in. The app works without an account. If you sign in with Apple, the same data — your scheduled days, sessions, logged sets, exercise timers, built programs, program names and preferences — is copied to our database (hosted by Supabase) so it can be restored on another iPhone. Sign in with Apple gives us your name, an email address (which may be Apple’s private relay address if you choose to hide yours), and an account identifier. We store the email and identifier to tell your rows apart from anyone else’s. We do not read or store anything else from your Apple ID.
Apple Health, if you turn it on. With the Apple Health switch on, each finished section is written to Apple Health as a workout (type, start, end, duration). The app never reads data from Apple Health. Health data stays in Apple’s Health app under Apple’s rules; we do not copy it to our servers.
What the app does not do
No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites. No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access. Exercise demonstrations play through YouTube’s embedded player. When you open one, YouTube receives the request as it would for any embedded video; its handling is covered by Google’s privacy policy, not ours. The app loads the player in a private, non-persistent web view that keeps nothing between viewings.
Who can see your data
Only you. Database rules restrict every row to the account that created it. Diet Track LLC staff do not look at individual accounts except to resolve a support request you make. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Supabase (database hosting) and Apple (sign-in, Health) process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Your choices
- Export. Profile → Export workout data writes every logged set to a CSV file you can keep.
- Log out. Profile → Log out keeps the data on the phone and stops syncing.
- Delete your account. Profile → Delete account removes your account and every row it owns from our servers, and wipes the data from the phone. This cannot be undone.
- Apple Health. Turn the switch off in the app, or revoke access in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
Data on our servers is kept until you delete your account. Backups made by our hosting provider expire on their normal schedule.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
